Flash Memory unknown - update stops with code 80007104

Monkey tells me, that Flash Memory installed is unknown - update stops with code 80007104

The Editor isn´t working to, giving me back an Code 80000000

 

I´ve tried doing the update in Safe Mode

• holding down the "right side" of the directional selector and power up the Pod (leads to some "overview")
• holding down the "down side" of the directional selector and power up the Pod (leads to "Update Flash").

I´ve tried the original USB-Cable and another one.

I´ve tried to click "NO" when it asks you the keep the current patches.

 

 

Please help me ASAP!!!

Was the unit working fine before and you were just updating the flash memory or was there a problem that you tried to resolve by reflashing the memory?

 

I don't have a Mac so my help is limited there, but you could uninstall the L6 software and redownload/install everything. Try again. A few thing bung up the flash process - cables, usb hubs and old drivers.

 

You could try using a different computer if you have access to one (preferably with a different OS) just as a way to check the HD.

 

If all else fails -> shoot in a support ticket to L6.

Thank you all. I fixed the problem using another USB-port on my iMac (used the first one now). There seems to be differences on different ports (maybe in power-supply).  :huh:

 

And please excuse my poor english  ;)

Different ports can do that. For example on a desktop the front ports are usually on a USB hub which L6 gear doesn't work with.
