chuskey
My expression pedal has developed a squeak to it when rocking it back and forth. I've tried adjusting the tension so it isn't that. What type of lubricant should I use and where physically on the pedal should I use it? I don't want to spray any lubricant in a spot that could cause any issues, if that's even possible. I haven't opened up the case, so I don't know how the expression pedal is connected to the circuit board. Just want to get rid of the squeak safely :) Thanks! Gawwuf
Looks like you got lots of help in responses. I just opened it up, made a paper towel barrier around the nut, sprayed some W-D 40 on both sides of the nut. Bingo, smooth and quiet.
