Jfoz01
I'm a complete rookie using a multi effects box and can't figure out why some presets produce sound and then when I scroll to another one it doesn't have output. I'm assuming there's a switch or parameter that I've accidentally turned off/down but can't figure it out. Can someone please enlighten me on this very basic issue? Thanks!!! TheRealZap
the input is not necessarily the same on all presets... i would look there first.
pianoguyy
If it is the factory presets, INPUT settings. But anything you make or download: Input type. Volume pedals. Pan settings. FX loop. Those are the 4 main ones that I have found.
Jfoz01
Thanks for your advic, but I'm still not sure I get it. I thought I could just scroll through the different presets and hear how each one sounds when I first tried it out. Now only a couple produce sound and most do not. Are you saying I have to go into each one change the input and/or turn the volume up? Seems hard to imagine that I accidentally turned off so many of them.thanks for your help this is driving me crazy!
silverhead
Not sure what presets you are listening to but one of the factory presets contains a bunch of presets that are designed for vocals or a mic'd acoustic guitar. Those have their input set to Mic, not Guitar, so you won't hear anything from your guitar. Also, many presets use a Vol FX controlled by the pedal. Make sure that the pedal is not in the heel (miniimimum) position.
