bobwilken
I can't figure out how to open up the full Helix Editor. all I get is the narrow strip with the presets and set list options. I see YouTube videos and screenshots all over the web showing a full-blown editor .. even the new email promo for today's new release shows a full editor - what am I doing wrong ? How do I get the full editor like the one pictured below in today's ad I am on 2009 Mac Pro 4,1 (Yosemite) if it matters.
silverhead
You need to update your edit/app. The latest version is available in the Downloads section of this website (under the Support tab above). You will also need to update your firmware to the latest version if you have not done so already. When you download the Helix app you will be presented with a checkbox to also download the Line 6 Updater program. Use this to update the firmware. I have the latest version of everything ... including today's new 1.04 update ... and all I can get is still the mini version.
klangmaler
[...] including today's new 1.04 update ... and all I can get is still the mini version. Sure - but the latest version is 1.12 Helix Editor v1.12 Release Candidate Notes Helix Editor 1.12 is a free update that includes new fixes, stability improvements, and optimizations. IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE INSTALLING ANY NEW SOFTWARE! If you have already updated Helix or Helix Rack’s firmware to 1.12: 1. Install the 1.12 Editor update, available at http://line6.com/software/. Check the “Beta†box. This 'Beta' check caused a lot of confusion...
bobwilken
Sure - but the latest version is 1.12 This 'Beta' check caused a lot of confusion... I think I have figured out the problem. I go to the Beta box, it takes me to version 1.12 but when I download it ... it installs version 1.04 ... not version 1.12 the website is linking the wrong download. silverhead
That's strange. My browser (Firefox) finds and downloads v1.12. Try clearing your cache/cookies re: Line 6 stuff, and maybe restarting your computer.
bobwilken
I just went thru the whole thing again ... and you download a file that says 1.12 .dmg , but when you open it up it is really version 1.04 so where are you guys really getting the 1.12 version

I don't see where cache or cookies has anything to do with it . the filename is "Helix.1.12.dmg" ... but that's not what is inside it. thanks for the suggestion though ... I really do appreciate it. but I must be taking the wrong path somewhere ... Klangmaker's link works though ... so I'm good.
