bshaw92
I usually setup a pitch shift to tune down a half step. It is not working the same in the simple pitch. I have a "warbly" sound and no other effects are on. Has anyone had success in this area?
Joepeggio
I find it only works on single notes and power chords only near the nut on the fretboard. Its a monophonic effect. My Digitech Drop does a much better job. I hope they come up with a polyphonic pitch shift, though it may pull a lot of DSP.

It uses a "Pitch Whammy" block, not the simple pitch. Here's a link to a tone I made that already has an "Eb Drop" switch for you to play around with. http://line6.com/cus...e/tone/2031305/ Have fun! PLEASE NOTE: A lot of users have complained that the upgrade to FW2.0 has screwed up the pitch shifting quality. Digital Igloo states that Line 6 are aware and a patch to revert the shifter algorithms will be made available.
zooey
I'm pretty certain the 201 update reverted to the earlier pitch algorithm. Not super hi-fi, but many people found it better than what was in 2.0.

Prior to that, and in 2.1, it's seems really flaky, to the point where I wouldn't even consider using the pitch blocks for any kind of extreme detuning, unless the track being detuned is somewhat shrouded with other tracks.
