Leftzilla
I tried searching the current forum for this topic so if this is discussed somewhere I would appreciate someone pointitng me to it. However I would like to disable the looper completely or somehow assign the switch so I do not accidently trigger it during live performances which has hapenned to me on more than few occasions. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
GTLazer
Elastic band several times round the post of the switch will quickly and easily make it much harder to press. 6

talwilkins
Yes the rubber band thing really works quite well!My HD500 got stolen a couple of months ago and I got a HD500X now.The rubber band trick doesn't work there because of the shape of the new switches (which I have to say really are a lot better IMO).I solved it there by first putting some rubber band around it and then putting a Chapstick lip balm cap over it. The rubber band makes it stay there. Whenever I want to use the looper I just pull off the cap :)
