gros-faignan
hello, i need some informations about the helix mic section : -phantom power sent to xlr input is adjustable ? some sources says 12V other 48... ??? -and about the xlr impedance ? adjustable as guitar input ? -effect modules and assignation are still the same for XLR/jack input -XLR signal is symmetrically processed before disymetry regards charly
PeterHamm
Phantom is on or off.XLR in, with a DI box, can be set to receive a guitar, but the switchable guitar-based auto-impedance feature only works on the guitar input. I find the Aux input useless for anything except a preamp equipped acoustic guitar or bass guitar. Don't understand the third question at all. But you select the input for each path, Multi, or one of the many inputs that are available. Huh? Dysintery?

Not sure where you're seeing anything about 12V. The XLR input is a standard low impedance mic jack. The variable input impedance only affects the Guitar In 1/4" jack - nothing else. As far as the XLR input and the blocks in a patch, if the mic input is selected, the signal will be sent through all the blocks in that preset, just like any other input. I'm sorry, you lost me with the symmetrical / "disymetry" comment...
gros-faignan
thanks for your answer, and sorry about my "disymetry" terms, maybe "unbalancing" would be a better translation...
tommasoferrarese
Nothing like Unison pre technology here, after all it's "just" a great guitar processor ;) You can use all the fx blocks as if you were using the guitar input, though.
