strabes
Hey guys. Big helix fan. Had it for almost 6 months now and sold almost all my other gear. One thing I haven't quite nailed is how I used to use my compressor pedal: High compression, low mix, high attack time, high release time. This gave me great sustain but didn't squash my attack. Any suggestions on compressor settings to help achieve this? Thanks!
Joepeggio
Low attack time to squash attack.
DunedinDragon
Here's the documentation for the MXR Dyna Comp (which is the Red Squeeze compressor). It describes the process you use to get the compressed sound. http://www.jimdunlop.com/files/manuals/M102DynaCompManual.pdf
