jimbojamz
Every preset I chose or create once I change it o it I get this question multiple times. It's driving me crazy. "Assign foot switch to bypass selected block?" Goes away on its own or I hit cancel. Any advice?
AlexKenivel
It's because you're touching the foot switches with your skin. It's supposed to do that and yes, I find it annoying at times too. There's a setting in the global menu to turn the touch capacitance off
jimbojamz
But I'm NOT touching anything but the guitar.
jimbojamz
I want the TC. Just not the message all the dang time!
jbuhajla
Turn of the touch sensing option in global setting ha to see if your problem goes away. If it does, you may have a bad switch and you'll need to open a support ticket.
AlexKenivel
Well if it's coming on like that unprompted then something sounds faulty to me. Try flashing the firmware and see if the problem persists
jimbojamz
re flashed firmware - no help. Line 6 says needs to be repaired, I say I'm sending it back for a new one, screw repair...
AlexKenivel
re flashed firmware - no help. Line 6 says needs to be repaired, I say I'm sending it back for a new one, screw repair...That's what I'd do. my first Helix I received had bad 1/4in outs and I told them I'd like a replacement so Sweetwater sent me another one, and I just used the XLR outs until the second one came and for a little while I had two to Daisy chain. Didn't last long as they obviously expected the first one back, but at least you might have that to look forward to
jimbojamz
Nope - best MF will do is ship the new one as soon as they get the tracking on the old one. In the mean time I have 2 practices before and a gig on march 4th. Going back right after that.
zooey
Plusses and minuses, kind of, but this is the kind of situation where the fact the Sweetwater rocks really matters.
