sjs94704
I am just new to reaper and VSTs, etc. Can anyone offer a suggestion of a good VST plugin for doing some really cool stuff with vocal tracks? I am a singer, and one idea I had would be that it would be cool to have myself as my own backup singers using different sound effects on my MIC ! gary9605
What do you envision as "cool" stuff. Reverb Chorus Flanging Echo Dealy ??????
fflbrgst
If you have Reaper, you should know that there are already a boatload of VST plugins supplied with it, including all those mentioned by Gary above. There's the 'Ozzifier' plug in that adds 1 or more slightly chorused/delayed layers. You can use ReaPitch to add harmony parts (but they tend to sound fake). I've used a couple of presets in PodFarm when I want a 'way out there' sound, typically involves delay, chorus and some EQ.
Triryche
With Reaper you are your own backup singers!! Record yourself singing on a track, insert a new track, record yourself singing with yourself, repeat as needed.
