staypuff54
Hi, Loving my helix so far, but I just started having a funky issue with the volume pedal block. When I start to roll it forward I hear guitar volume, but as soon as the pedal stops moving or comes close to 100% the volume shuts off. I plugged in an external expression pedal and tried it and had the same problem. Any help would be appreciated!
jbuhajla
Does the percentage of the volume block drop to 1% when it shuts off? What firmware are you on?
Joepeggio
Exp 1? Or exp 2? Getting at the exp 1 volume bug. Supposed ti be addressed soon. Hopefully
staypuff54
It happens whether I'm on EXP 1 or 2, and it goes all the way down to 0%. I'm on 2.
biggarfish
I'm having a similar problem but I think slightly different. I use Exp 2 for Volume only and Exp 1 for Wah, effects etc. When I had the HD500 my Exp 2 Roland EV5 worked fine but with Helix it works in the opposite direction, all the way forward is Min 0% and back is Max 100% and I don't like that. I've tried to reset it manually but can't figure out what I'm not doing correctly to fix this. Any thoughts out there on what I need to do to remedy this? Thanks Chris

jbuhajla
Make sure your volume blocks are assigned to EXP2, and if you are using wah, assign it to EXP1. There is a bug when assigning volume to EXP1, the volume % will randomly drop to 0-1%.
