Any way to turn off the tap tempo light?

If you are using the App then you can go into settings and there is an option to turn it off

Settings>Global Settings>Displays>Turn off Tap Tempo LED

I used a black sharpie on my IV it is rather bright isnt it?

Brainbow answered this (I think) but .....

 

Using the Spider 5 Amp directly ....

 

1) Hold Home button until settings menu comes up

2) On the screen "Tap Light" is third item in the list ... turn <Hold/Save> rotary 2 clicks to the right (clockwise) to select "Tap Light"

3) Once Tap Light is selected press (push) the Hold/Save rotary to engage the Tap Light Parameter settings

4) Rotate the Hold/Save rotary to toggle Tap Light on or off

5) Hit Home Button to exit ... Tap Light will now be set as per Step 4. 

 

The first thing I did when I got this amp was to turn that distracting blinking light OFF !!!!!!

To turn off the tap tempo light in a Line 6 Spider V 120 MkII, do the following: 

1. Press and hold the HOME button until setting is displayed. 
2. Rotate the Hold/Save knob clockwise until you see Tap Light. 
3. Press the Hold/Save knob to enter the edit mode. 
4. Rotate the Hold/Save knob to toggle ON/OFF. 
5. Press the Hold/Save knob to confirm. 
6. To exit, do nothing, or press HOME again.
