l0vingsomeone
I set my helix delay, and i think it doesn't work right. https://soundcloud.com/allalright/ojklzcd5ivn8 Like you hear, first delay time is not same with others... Why is it happened? Every delay has same problem and I don't know what is working wrong.
mkornell
Are you using mono or stereo delays?
phil_m
On many of the delays, there is a parameter called "Scale". If you have that at anything other than 100, it will create a secondary delay effect with the timing being whatever percentage the scale parameter is set to. So, say for instance, you had the scale parameter set to 75 and you had the delay time set to a quarter note. You would get a secondary delay at a dotted eighth note timing (.75 of a 1/4 note = three 1/16th notes, or a dotted eighth).
zooey
And if the effect is stereo, and you're taking the output from one side only, things will be a bit, uh, weird. Not exactly unpredictable, but quite likely not what you're after.
