Helix LT and Acoustic

Hello!

This is my first post to the forum after browsing for a while. Anyway, I'm seriously considering becoming part of the Helix family and for me the LT would be the one I'd be looking to get due to budget concerns and the additional options available on the floor unit aren't essential for me.

The one thing I have wondered about and please forgive me if it's already been answered, was can I plug an electro acoustic into the return jack and still get the same tone I would get if I was using the AUX in on the floor unit? If not, would the regular input be better?

I'm also looking to invest in an acoustic guitar to gig with and was looking at an X Series Martin and obviously want this to work well with the Helix if possible.

A DXR10 would complete my rig and as I come to understand it's pretty excellent paired with a Helix?

If you set the return to be at line level, it is essentially the same as the Aux In on the floor... The Aux In is a fixed 10kOhm input. The returns are 1MOhm at instrument level and 10kOhm at line level.
