psarkissian Posted December 12, 2017 Share Posted December 12, 2017 Yes, it's possible to convert. Need to get the correct 3rd single coil pick-up. Each one is optimized for it's position. If using a non-stock 3rd single coil, it has to have the DC/bulk resistance spec of between 6k to 8k Ohms. Outside of that range, there will be problems with impedance, current draw and the associated tone (EQ) differences that go with it. Pick-guards (scratch plates) are available. Check with the nearest Line 6 authorized service center in your area, or ring up Mark Wright Music in Northampton, in the English Midlands.
