Harrison1986
Hi, been looking online and struggling to find an answer to this, maybe someone with a Hd500/x could help. I've gone through loads of multi effects (most recently a Boss Me80 and Vox Tonelab Se and can't find anything that suits my needs. The Pod Hd500 looks like it might. I just want to know whether: 1. You can use the footswitches in manual/stomp box mode (turn effects on and off individually) 2. If so can you stack distortions (one switch for an overdrive, another for a distortion on top? 3. While in this manual mode, the expression pedal can control volume and can be switched (on the exp pedal itself) to a wah? 4. Can you model 2 amps at the same time (one clean, one dirty) 5. Can you switch between amp channels (clean and Overdrive)? If anyone can help me with this that'd be ace.

You can use the footswitches in manual/stomp box mode (turn effects on and off individually) Yes, you can even combine more than one FX block on a button and have one or more go off whilst another one or more turn on 2. If so can you stack distortions (one switch for an overdrive, another for a distortion on top? sure, or put them on the same button. 3. While in this manual mode, the expression pedal can control volume and can be switched (on the exp pedal itself) to a wah? the toe switch will change the pedal between exp1 and exp2, you can have it be a wah on exp1 and a pitch whammy for exp2...You can also use a well known workaround and assigne the channel volume parameter to expression and save an FX slot...Depends on how much you need a volume pedal I guess. 4. Can you model 2 amps at the same time (one clean, one dirty) Yes 5. Can you switch between amp channels (clean and Overdrive)? Yes, if you use 2 amp models....An amp model is a model of a single channel If anyone can help me with this that'd be ace. see above.
