Hallo there, just want to do an upgrade of my old Digitech GSP1101. I have just get a Line6 HD PRO X and want to use it via 4CM with my amp and cabinet. Till that, everything OK but I didn't found an option to set just a cab sim for the xlr output (which I'm send to drummer's monitor).

Is there and option for setting just an xlr option, please?

Thank you

OK, this is not I want to hear but live is hard. Thank you.

Please check my idea if it is correct.

I will do a signal chain in front of preamp (wah, od etc.) then I will split the signal flow. To signal flow A I will use the FX, no amp sim and all the others effects. To signal flow B I will use amp sim and the same effect like in flow A.

Is it possible to route the flow A to unbalanced 1/4 output for my cabinet and flow B to balanced XLR for the monitor?

Yes, if you use a dual amp patch, you can do what you want...However, you need to insure that your monitor has a mic pre if you choose to use the XLR. If it doesn't have a mic pre, it will likely be a bit noisy...You will need to put a dummy plug in the other 1/4 out...or you could just use a DI to drive the monitor....If you only use one 1/4 out, ALL of the outputs will sum mono...

OK I will try it again with the dummy 1/4 plug but how I can say to HD that 1/4 is going to my cabinet and xlr to monitor?

I still think you would be better off jumping thru a Red BOX DI....Much less hassle and no chance of running out of DSP...The Behringer is cheap and works just fine for a cab sim for a monitor...only about $20-30 US and your patches don't have to change...
