Hi,

ive just got a brand new Hx effects and used it for 30 mins and now all the menu buttons at the top have stopped working.

I had updated it to the newest firmware before using it and I’ve also done a factory reset.

is there something I’m missing or you reckon it’s broken?

I just had the same problem, nobody could help but I opened it up and it wound up being a loose ribbon cable. I slid a long flathead screwdriver in and pressed it down, works perfect now

I was experiencing this issue, so I opened it up, and the ribbon cable did not look loose, but pushing on it did fix my issue. Thanks!

P.S. for future readers: to open the chassis you must remove all the screws, even the ones on the side, you can use a small torx bit, even though it's not actually a torx screw.

Sorry for bumping the thread, couldn't find any info regarding that issue.

Home/Menu buttons working perfectly fine, Save button seem to be dead.

The ribbon cable sits in its place. any other solution to try?

Thanks!
