littlefieldg2018
I purchased an acoustic IR package from 3Sigma today in hopes of setting up an acoustic patch running DI through my send and receive this morning. The patch turned out beautiful but I cannot get the IR’s to import into HX Edit. I went through the faq’s on their site and did a search here. They recommended I post in the forums and I did not find anything using the search function. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
pbatts
Are you importing from the 48kHz folder?
soundog
Helix converts all .WAV IRs to 16-bit, 48kHz mono, but you might as well start with the 48k files. Most importantly, make sure you're importing 3Sigma's .wav files and not the .kipr files. The .wav files should just work without issues. Have you successfully used IRs with your Helix before? Hi littlefield2018, I’m surprised that your search didn’t return anything useful, because someone was asking about importing IR files only a day or two back. I will point you to the thread in the hope that it may help: Here ya go!
