soundog Posted August 1, 2018 Share Posted August 1, 2018 I just got the HX FX and was surprised at how heavy it is for its size. Its like a 5-pound brick! My Helix was heavy, but it's weight seemed proportional to the size + heavy duty pedal. Has anyone peaked inside an HXFX? Is there a lead weight in there? Or a gravity field generator? Update: OK, here's the scoop .... no trickery, magic, or lead weights inside. Just great engineering, a sheetload of quality components, and 1/16" steel casing. That mofo be built like a tank.
