Helix HX - Multiple Effects from the Same Category

Hi All,

 

Before I buy the Helix HX, I was wondering if it is possible to use multiple effects from the same catergory at once, or have them on the same pedalboard. For instance, a tremolo feeding into a phaser (both modulation), an overdrive feeding into a distortion (both distortion), a short delay feeding into a long delay (both delay), etc.

Yes, you can any effects in any block, and there's no limitations* as the number of instances you can use as far as having effects from the same category or the same effect even.

 

*The one exception is that you are limited to having one 2048 sample or two 1024 sample IR blocks per preset. Also, there is a DSP limit. So you may not be able to put, say, four DSP intensive reverb blocks in one preset.
