Mervster
Good morning all, I have recently purchased a Helix floor and have been so far very impressed with it. However after approximately an hours use last night it went U/S. The main display went off and all of the scribble strips including the EXP1&2 strip went blank but all flashed continuously on and off at approximately one second intervals. Power reset the Helix and all was fine for around 10 minutes when it happened again. Then did a factory reset but again after a few minutes the fault reoccured. It happens with nothing but the power cable connected to the unit, so this eliminates any connected device causing the issue. The unit is running the latest 2.70 firmware. Any users experienced this problem at all. Personally I believe it to be hardware related but any ideas welcome. Many thanks.
rvroberts
Yes, does sound like hardware to me - just check your power - try yo use a different circuit. different cable if you can too - If on improvement - I'd bet hardware.

m3shall
Hi i have similar problem, I turn the Helix On and the main screen stay black and the scribbles blank but On. If I turn it on and off several times then the Main screen Load up and everything seems to be fine, but this happen to me almost everytime I try to use it, sometimes it doesnt turn On after shutting it off and on for more than 10 times. Any Clues? Gear: Helix Floor Firmware 2.71...
spikey
m3shall, try a different wall socket and eliminate the possibility of moving the power cord while resetting it. Then wiggle the power brick cable once it comes on right and see if this makes the display get flakey. Also lightly press around the display itself and see if that causes issues. DunedinDragon
Actually it sounds like you fat footed the 2 preset buttons and hit them both at the same time. Pressing the Mode button would restore it.
