Is there a simple way to get a clean tone

Recommended Posts

I want to record the cleanest possible tone into GarageBand. This is where I will apply amp effects.

I find the Line6 app to be confusing, so haven't yet figured out how to get a clean tone.

I can't be the only person wanting to do this. I figured there would be an FAQ but couldnt' find one.

Any advice?

If you want no processing applied to your signal, bypass all the effects blocks and go into the amp/cab block and select “No Cabinet” for the cab model and “No Amp” for the amp model (it’s under the Clean heading).

Thanks. I figured out the "no cabinet" and "no amp" part.

But how do you bypass an effect block? I can drag them around but cannot delete them.  I also don't see a 'bypass' button.

Thanks man. This is some of the worst user interface I've ever seen. And i've seen a lot.
