Latest Line 6 Monkey and Workbench not for Variax Standard?

Yesterday I got my new Variax Standard. I'm very satisfied. I have questions about software installation.

 

Is it correct that I do NOT install the latest Line 6 Monkey? I have to install version 1.76?

Is it right that I can not install the latest Workbench 2.14?

The current versions are only for the James Tyler Variax?

The Standard uses Workbench HD and it should work without issues, so just use the latest versions of everything. The problems with Workbench (vintage) are with old Variax guitars.

For JTV, Standard and Shuriken SR270, Flash v2.22 or v2.23 is fine.

Flash v2.23 just adds extra functionality for the Shuriken SR250.

 

Use nothing higher Monkey v1.77 for now. Workbench v2.14.0 is the current one.
