Geekydaddy
When I attempt to download a patch from Customtone 500X it downloads in the L6t format instead of 5xe extension ??
Charlie_Watt
Change the extension then.
devilshockey
You can download patches from the HD500 section of Customtone. Just select "All Files" when you open the folder to load the patch.
jjoenutz5150
I just got the HD500x too, and i've tried downloading the HD500 patches and then changing the extension to 5ex or 5xb and it still won't work and i get this message, " Invalid data found in one or more patches. These patches have been reset and named (New tone reset)" i don't know what i'm doing wrong here
LDBecker
Someone else also suggested just dragging the HD-500 tones from the download folder directly onto the HD-500x's edit window (assuming a PC - Mac, no idea). That worked seamlessly for me. Larry
radatats
There is a really great conversion utility pinned to the start of the POD Forum. You can convert your tones between units and even full amp to preamp without losing your settings. http://line6.com/support/topic/2164-pod-hd-tone-conversion-utility/
