Dimestoregypsy Posted April 16, 2019 Share Posted April 16, 2019 I’ve had the HX Effects for a while and I’ve loved it so much I decided to get the Stomp for the amp modeling. My question is can I use the FX to midi control the Stomp? Specifically I would like to be able to change between snapshots and presets on the stomp and blocks within a preset on the FX. For the Stomp, you would need to identify what buttons on the HX Effects you wanted to control the Stomp, and then have them send out CC#71, Value #2 for preset and #3 for snapshot. At least, that's the most obvious way to do it. You could also send out CC#71 and value 4 or 5 to cycle through footswitch modes, but that would also cause you to have Stomp or Scroll mode pop up.
