pstuhr01
I bought an Audient id44 for recording and want to use this as my audio interface, but I'm having trouble understanding how to record the Helix. I have the monitors hooked up to the Audient, and both the Audient and Helix are connect to my Macbook Pro via USB. I'm using Propellerhead Reason as my DAW. Shouldn't I be able to get the digital signal of the Helix through this setup via USB? I'm not able to see any audio signal in Reason or the Audient mixer. Ultimately, I'm trying to monitor the live sound from the Helix, but also record the dry signal for reamp and additional processing via Helix Native in Propellerhead Reason. Any ideas on what I may be missing?
zolko60
You can aggregate Helix and Audient on OSX (high latency, direct monitoring only when monitors are connected to Hx) or use SPDIF (eg amp left, DI right)
parker1963
Wouldn't you connect the Audient and Helix via the BNC socket ?
