Failed to get preset names in 1 setlist after 2.8 update

Hello all, new to the forum and a new owner of the Helix LT.  Updated to 2.8 following all instructions....all went smoothly, however after a week I noticed that one of the setlists (and only 1 of them), gives this error when I try to select it on the HX Edit software.  (on the actual board it just keeps the setlist that I had populated prior to selecting the new one, no error message or anything)

This is what I get on the HX Edit software.....

Can't seem to find anything related to this on the Internet.....and as I mentioned, all other Preset Setlists work fine.....do I need to do something to clear this so that I can access the list?

Any help would be appreciated......P.S. all worked fine prior to 2.8 firmware upgrade.....but not sure this is the problem.....

This was happening once in a while before the update. Seemed to happen when opening HX Edit. Shutting down and restarting Edit (sometimes 2 or 3 times) seemed to fix it. Since it started happening right after a Windows update, I put it down to that. Interested to see how many others have seen this.

Hi,

Please tell us what computer and operating system, what Helix model/type and Firmware revision number you are using.

Not really able to assist if you don’t supply the information we need to help you fix this issue.

Regards.

Hi there! Have the same problem here, I was playing, then suddenly all my presets just dissapear and this message pop up: "Failed to get preset names Operation Failed due to DSP overload (code -8611)"

I have the 2.92 Firmware since the update came out and not have a problem at all until now.

Running on a Windows 10 Pro (1909).

My mail if somebody can help: clasesandrescastro@gmail.com

Thx in advance!

Hi Andres,

The error code seems to indicate you have simply pushed your HX Stomp beyond its DSP capability. The HX Stomp is limited to 6 blocks, but some blocks require more DSP power than others. Usually when you have reached the limit of DSP power, then certain items are "greyed out" and no longer available to use. I can't see that in your Screenshot, but delete one of the delays and have everything on one path - see if that fixes it.

Hoe this helps/makes sense
