jackjordan
Does the Ernie Ball VP JR work with the HD500 as the second expression pedal? I was able to get it to work with my old Line 6 M13 I just had to plug it through the output of the JP JR (not the input). I tried searching this forum, but couldn't find an answer. If it doesn't I may have to purchase a Mission Engineering pedal. Thank you in advance for your help!
brian6string
I'm using the NosePedal.com purple pedal with my HD500X. Depends on what you're doing with it whether this is useful for you (it's a knob you can control with your foot instead of your typical expression pedal). For my purposes its great because its small, and I only use it occasionally to change a parameter on a patch and leave it there.
guitarplayer0376
I don't believe you can use the EB jr as an actual expression pedal for the HD, ie, wah. You can use it as a separate volume pedal though, that it will do. Pretty sure I have tried to use it before for the 2nd exp. pedal, no dice. Yuo can try it though. sparpacellone
Does the Ernie Ball VP JR work with the HD500 as the second expression pedal? Hi Jackjordan, I've tried this morning to use my Ernie Ball Pedal as second expression pedal. You have to use a stereo cable Y (1 stereo into pod exp 2 in + 2 mono into in & out ernie ball). I have only one problem: the value goes to 100% at half stroke. Maybe a ohm problem? or the taper switch which provides the user two distinct volume swell rates? Today I have no time, tomorrow I'll see.. Matteo
owens_hound
I use the EB Jr 25k pedal with my HD500 and it works as volume or expression. The other guitar player in my band got one first for his HD500, he had tried the 250k and found that the 25k one worked the best. FYI. I didn't need to use a stereo cable. radatats
I know its not top of the line but the Line 6 EX 1 at 50 bucks does the job without any bother... Sure seems sturdy enough to me and works well in all functions...
