hillbilly57 Posted September 24, 2019 Share Posted September 24, 2019 Since updating to 2.81 I can no longer drag and drop in HX Edit. Not a big deal re moving blocks around but I don't know of a way to create splits in HX Edit other than drag and drop. Helix v2.8.1, HX Edit v2.8.1, Windows 10, and I followed upgrade instructions to the letter. Anyone else having this problem? Bill Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rd2rk Posted September 24, 2019 Share Posted September 24, 2019 Works fine. First report I've seen of this. Everybody follows the upgrade instructions to the letter. And yet...... Make certain that HX Edit version matches the hardware version (both 2.81). Have you rebooted since the update? Re-install HX Edit. Reboot after re-install. Do a complete uninstall, then re-install and reboot. Run a system cleaner. Clean the registry. Run anti-malware. All the standard "Windows is acting weird" stuff.
