HX - Snapshot not retaining on/off status

I'm having issues with having an effect on in snapshot 1a and off in 1b - whatever I choose in one and save, it remains in the same state in the other. I am saving in the snapshot after making the change, then going to the next snapshot and the change I just made is there as well. e.g. delay on in snapshot 1a but off in snapshot 1b. What is really weird is that it is working properly for another effect block in the same preset (chorus)???  Why would it retain the state across snapshots of one effect and not another? Bug?

thanks for your help

There was a new parameter added for each block in the 2.80 firmware called Snapshot Bypass. Is this the HX Effects or the HX Stomp? On the HX Effects, select the block in question, hit the ACTION button and then make sure the footswitch that says Snapshot Bypass is lit. On the Stomp, from Edit view, select a processing block, press ACTION, press PAGE >, and set Knob 3 (Snapshot Bypass) to "Off" to disable snapshot control of that block's bypass state.
