His rhythm tones have an almost clean but over driven sound (thought someone told me its a blend of two amps, one clean and one not) and his lead tone just seems to take it over the top. To me has a very bluesy, but rock sort of bluesy tone to it. Anyone have any ideas on setting this type of tone up? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't care much for the first 2 albums tones, but this one seem to have a fuller tone with it and I dig it. it just (I know this is contradicting, which is where I think the 2 amp thing comes from) seems his tone has a clarity and a looseness to it FYI, been drinking heavily for 20+ years now, got that part down.....lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
