milkman73
Hi, I'm using the HX Effects for Pre and Post Effects together with my Suhr PT 15 IR. The signal flow is as follows: Git -> (Input of Helix Fx) Pre-Amp Effects --> Send of Helix --> Input of Amp --> Out of Amp (using the IR Signal) --> Neo Vent II (Stereo back in the Helix using Return 1 & Return 2) --> Post Fx --> Output 1&2 of Helix into the Mixer. The issue is, that the Helix does only take the mono signal from the Vent (ignoring Return 2). I'm using a Fx-Loop Block 1 in the Helix. Is there a way to set this block (Return) to stereo? Or how can I use the stereo signal? Many thanks!
codamedia
Unless you need the other SEND on the HX Effects for something else.... you can just insert a STEREO LOOP instead of a MONO one? This still only requires a single block. As long as the previous blocks are mono I don't think it would matter which SEND you use... but you could use a Y cable if you were concerned. With a Stereo Loop the 2 Returns will be stereo. The other option would require two blocks. A mono send and a Stereo Return. That would free up the 2nd send for another use, but it would require yet another block to utilize it.
phil_m
Yeah, the issue is, as stated above, that you’re using a mono FX Loop block rather than the stereo loop. Change the FX Loop block to FX Loop 1/2 and you should be good to go.
milkman73
Thank you for the replies. Sometimes it's quite easy ... I forgot that you can change the Fx Loop to stereo. Issue solved :-)
