Fierce_Swe
Hi guys! Sorry if this is posted before but I haven't find it... As the title says, how do I turn off the sound through when my HX stomp is in off-mode (or not powered on)? I want to be able to connect or disconnect my device or plug it in my soundcard or plug a guitar cable when it's turned off without sound going through. How do I do that????? Thanx
cruisinon2
It's not often that I'm completely bewildered by a question in here... but what exactly are you asking? If your Stomp is turned off, then it's off... you can plug/ unplug whatever cable(s) you want and the only thing that should reach your ears is the sound of said cable being shoved in or pulled out. phil_m
The Stomp does have an analog bypass path, so when it's powered off, the signal will pass from the input to the output. I guess if you worried about things causing popping when you're plugging and unplugging, your best bet is to leave the Stomp powered on and put into Tuner mode while doing that. That will mute the outputs (assuming you have the Tuner set to Mute the signal, which it is by default).
Fierce_Swe
Ok. so that's the only way to get it silent!? I mainly use my Kemper for recording so that's why I plug it in and plug it out from time to time. Whenever I plug my guitar in the speakers almost fart themselves out. It doesn't sound so healthy for them so I thougt there must be a way to make it silent when it's turned off... I want to be able tp plug it in or out or plug in guitars when it's turned off without high sound peaks destroying my speakers.
