This usually refers to an iLok activation code which is used for copy protection. If you purchased it new, it may be a duplicate code so you have to submit a ticket to Line6 support on the website. If you purchased it used, the person who activated it would have to deactivate it before you can reactivate it (if that's even possible).

I live in Taiwan, and my friend bought me Line 6 Helix Native as a present.  But when I try to enter the activation code it says 54642-activation-code-has-already-been-redeemed-error-8727/

 

My friends name is John Mackenzie who purchased it through Sweetwater, my name is Bruce Niblett.

 

What should I do to get it working?
