mlimbolimbo
I've been looking for a thread to post my Helix wish list for patches and features and haven't found one, so here goes. EFFECTS AND AMPS: -Blues Driver -Princeton Reverb FEATURES: -Ability to lock patches so that we cannot screw them up (especially when using them as templates. -Disconnect use of expression pedals from whatever you call the function that indicates that a patch has changes that need to be saved. If I use volume or Wah, I don't want to look down and see the little "E". Plus, this disassociation would probably be needed to avoid conflict with the ability to lock patches. -Pedals can be merged and saved as a single unit. So, when you don't make the Blues Driver pedal, I can merge an EQ and another pedal and save the result as a single pedal. Am I asking too much? HARDWARE: An amp control face that can connect via the RJ45 or Link 6 jacks. Whaaat? Yes, some of us like to adjust things on the fly, and you would make more money. I guess I could DIY one with Arduino, but then I make the money. Hmmm. Send me one gratis when you get it done. I guess it will have to have scribble strips to work with all the different amps. Thanks for a fantastic set of products and all the work you do to make them constantly better. l
rd2rk
Posting here is pointless, the folks who matter don't look on here. The official Helix wish list is called Ideascale. https://line6.ideascale.com/ Search first for your wish, it may already be posted, and you'd just be diluting the votes if it is. Also, if you post 10 things in one post, I for one won't vote for your idea(s) unless I like ALL of them. What are the odds?

The point of IdeaScale is as much the ease in sharing metrics with the rest of Line 6 as it is collecting metrics from our users. Considering forum interaction is literally 0% of any Line 6er's job description, what's more efficient? Capturing thousands of screenshots, organizing them all, counting them all—outside of work hours—and hoping the rest of the organization trusts my findings. Or: Sending a link to a secret IdeaScale subpage where ideas have been organized into easy-to-read charts?
Lone_Poor_Boy
It's just smart work management. No different than us using Infor EAM at work and requiring staff to submit work requests rather than verbally telling someone in maintenance they just ran into, who now has to remember three tasks those helpful staff laid on them as they walked across the facility, and write them down if they remember them, and enter them into the system themselves.
