Jeromebailey
I've updated my firmware on my pod hd500 and when I've tried to reinstall bundle patched I have a total lack of sound from instrument.Variax on cable. Any ideas?
hurghanico
After reinstalling the firmware you should always do a global reset and finally a pedal calibration to avoid malfunctions. https://line6.com/support/page/kb/pod/pod-hd500-hd500x/after-pod-hd500x500-flashre-flashupdate-mandatory-global-settings-reset33-r160/ It is not clear what you mean by "bundled patched" but if it is a set of presets and setlists, check that the inputs of the presets are set to use the Variax signal. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
Jeromebailey
Hi I meant the drop down option at the top of the interface that says 'save bundles.

Ok,... so...let me understand... Your POD doesn't produce any sound, or are your previously saved presets missing from the device? If the problem is the missing presets, maybe you did something wrong. Given that you did a firmware reinstalling, what you should ideally have done for the complete procedure is: 1) save your bundle of presets on your computer 2) reinstall the firmware 3) global reset 4) pedal calibration 5) load your previously saved bundle through the Editor 6) Use the SEND ALL command in the Editor to upload all your presets into your device is this what you did?.. or you missed something? _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
Jeromebailey
Don't think I did a global reset. Will try again.
pianoguyy
But, particularly since you use a variax, you will need to check your system settings and/or the input settings on each patch.
sorcerer532
Input Setup can be set to "Global" or per "Preset." If your input source is not set to Variax--or something including the Variax--it could cause this issue.
