I purchased this used and let it sit for several months,  it appears the Volume knob is not working.

I downloaded the latest software  and checked the global settings but no fix.

When I enter Hardware test mode, the volume is not responding there either, I don't know if that means the volume hardware is bad or not...

Line 6 support did not offer any solutions except send it to a repair facility .

You'll need to do some more investigating before sending it off for repair. The master volume knob can be set so that it only controls the signal sent to certain outputs... for example, if you were running straight to FOH via the XLR out and using a small stage monitor for yourself, you could disengage the volume knob from the XLR out so that signal remains constant, and have the knob control only the 1/4" that's feeding your monitor.

What exactly does the global settings say the volume control is assigned to?

Which outputs are you connected to? Note: If it's headphones, there are even more global settings to check to make sure the volume will work with it.

I found the setting for the Volume Knob.
It is actually called 'Volume Knob Controls' in the Global settings. :DUH -could it be more obvious.
I set it to "multi " , Actually It works on what ever it is assigned to.
