mileshurr
Hi, New to the modeling multi effects process. I bought both the Pod Go and the Hx Fx and I want to hook them both up sometimes to my tube amp and sometimes directly to my pa. What is the best way to run cables? Is anyone else doing this? My plan was to use Pod Go just mainly for amp wah and then use Hx Fx for the effects I plan to use?
cristt
Uhm why did you bought both? You are kind of complicating things...btw you could use the pod go as the "main" unit for amp and cab sim and put the hx fx on the fx loop of the pod go. But you have to care of the positioning of the fx loop because you don't want to have a reverb before your amp and cab, for example. Or you could try the 4 cable method between the two. spaceatl
POD Go doesn't have midi, so you will be tap dancing with this setup. Easiest thing to do would be put the HX FX in the Loop of the GO...Use the Go AMP Out to the Power amp in of your amp....run the GO main outs to your monitors (PA)....It will take time to tweak and you will have to change patches manually between the two units....If you are new to modeling and really want that much capability, I am curious why you did not opt for a Helix LT.
