Helix is a USB sound device aka sound card. It's headphone jack doesn't support mic in from headsets.

On Windows 10 click on the volume icon on the right side of the task bar. Click on the arrow on the right top to select the audio device. This arrow only appears if your system senses multiple sound devices.

How did you solve this problem? I have the same situation now. Only I have no sound in games.
I was also advised to:
In Control Panel, open Sound and go to the Playback tab.
Select the headset as the primary playback device by right-clicking on it and selecting "Set as default".
Then, in the Communications tab, select "Take no action" to prevent switching audio devices during calls.

But it doesn't help.

Anyone have their chat switch to the helix when its on and plugged in with USB?  I can't play COD with it on.  No chat audio on my headset but all the other sounds are on the headset earphone.

When I play on PC, I use a quality headset for sound to fully immerse myself in the process. Sometimes the audio settings get lost, especially if several devices are connected, as in the case of Helix. And if I want to get distracted from the usual shooters, I sometimes switch to online games. Recently I read on https://philippinescasinos.ph/ about a selection of platforms where there are a lot of interesting things. To be honest, you don’t even need sound there. I just turn up the music on the JBL speaker at full volume.

Install the VB-Audio Virtual Cable program. Watch on YouTube how to use it. Should help!
