ruperthawkes
I’m using a Helix Rack. Using digital output is 48khz and connected to Scarlett 18i20 via the RCA digital socket. If I have the clock set to internal or external in the Scarlett control I sometimes get loud pop/short crackle in my speakers. I’m using Logic Pro and project is set to 48khz. Wondering if I should the analog outs, will the sound quality be much lower? Any ideas on how to resolve? Thanks.
Schmalle
A coaxial cable with 75 Ohm characteristic impedance minimizes glitches.

Schmalle
No. I don't want to promote specific ones since I don't have experience with one. Search for digital RCA cable. Just don't use a standard RCA cable since these usually don't have the right wave impedance to prevent signal reflections.
rd2rk
I got mine at Radioshack. Here's Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/Coaxial-Digital-Audio-Cable-Black/dp/B002876B4C/ref=sr_1_8?_encoding=UTF8&c=ts&dchild=1&keywords=Digital+Coaxial+Cables&qid=1605227876&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_browse-bin%3A2892862011&s=aht&sr=1-8&ts_id=597550 Try Monoprice too.
