Parallel effects signals

Hi Guys, Noob question.

How many parallel (not series) effects can helix lt/native run?

I'm trying to create a patch mimicking my rocktron Intellifex that has a beautiful 8voice chorus via degrees of pitch bending, so I don't want to re-pitch bend the same signal repeatedly. Not thinking I can get 8(?) parallel signals (then need to route them back together), but how many can I get?

It takes a little pre-planning, but you can have 4 parallel paths on the Helix or Native...

  • Set input to guitar for both Path 1 and Path 2
  • Set output to mains for both Path 1 and path 2
  • Path 1A and Path 2A should start with your primary tone (eg: amp/cab and any effects). Yes - it needs to be duplicated!
NOTE: You can create a more complicated primary tone... but it will leave you with less blocks available in both 1A and 2A.
  • Immediately following the AMP (or primary tone) on each path, create a "Split Y"
  • All four paths will be in parallel... and can contain multiple effects (series) on each path.

The LT is restricted by the DSP power as to how much you can accomplish....

Native can have compatibility mode turned off... in theory up to 32 blocks can be used!

I'm attaching a screenshot from Native to show you the idea.... using nothing but an Amp/Cab and some modulations.
