Helix running 2.50 - Does it have to be upgraded Incrementally or can it be Direct upgraded to 3.01

Dumb Question to be on the safe side....

 

I've not upgraded my Helix for a while as it performs well.

It is currently running 2.50. 

Does it have to be upgraded Incrementally to other versions (2.6 , 2.9) or or can it be directly upgraded to 3.01.

I am familiar with the process. ( Line 6 directions, to me, are well documented )

@phil_m - I read somewhere that you should go to v3.0 before going to v3.01. Is that yes or no?

No, you can directly to 3.01. There is no HX Edit version 3.01, though, so I can see how that might get lost in translation.
