Hey guys, I'm having quite the problem with my Helix and I'm not seeing any solutions out there on the web. Was hoping you guys could help!

When using the XLR outs on my Helix, I'm sending a very, very low signal. It starting acting up when I plugged into a PA. I thought it was on their end, but now I am at home using my typical rig - two Kali Audio LP-6 - and I'm having the same issue. 1/4'' and headphone outs work just fine. Yes, I've tried different cables and guitars and speakers. Yes, Ive checked the global settings and ensured that I do not have the pad engaged and have changed literally every option I could to try to restore the sound. I eventually set the unit back to factory and still no results. I'm afraid it's a hardware issue, but since I have already had to send this particular unit in to Line 6 I'm not too happy about that.

Anyone here have suggestions?

Here's what I'd do.  Go into global ins/outs and set XLR level to Line level, and set Master Volume Knob to 1/4" only.  That sets the XLR outs to full volume as if the master volume knob is turned all the way up.  If that configuration is low level then you likely have a problem with your XLR outs.

After you've done what DD suggested, get back to the PA and, using the board's Channel Input Level Knobs, if you can't get the clip indicator to light, then you definitely have a problem.

It may be as simple as not having enough Output level on your presets. This is something that often trips up Powercab users.
