nottaj
Wondering if the main outputs on the back of the Stomp are isolated, or if there's any chance of a ground loop when running to separate amps. Couldn't find this info in the manual. I'm personally running dual-mono outputs directly into the dual-mono FX return of a JC-120 and not experiencing any ground loop, but I'd like to know if I need to pack a ground loop isolator for gigs. rd2rk
A pair of studio monitors are two amps. If you're not getting a hum from them (mine don't hum), then there ya go! If you're getting a hum at the gig, it's probably the house's 100 yo electrical system or the Bud Lite sign. :-)
Schmalle
No they are not isolated. So you have a ground loop in your setup, but 50/60 cycle hum is not an issue. Electromagnetic fields can be induced via ground loops though. To minimize the risk of that the two cables to the JC-120 should be laid next to each other with no distance between them. You could even twist them a few times.
