rd2rk
If it has a headphone (1/8"?) out, get an INSERT cable - 1/8" Stereo (TRS) to dual 1/4" Mono (TS). Connect it to the RETURNS and in Global Settings>Ins/Outs>Return Type set it to AUX. You MAY also be able to simply connect the tablet's Computer Out to the Stomp USB, which, by default, takes the Audio directly to the Stomp's Outputs, bypassing the signal chain/effects. The HX Stomp owner’s manual notes using the Returns for Aux in patching of keyboards, drum machines and MP3 players, etc. From the HX Stomp FAQ page: USB—for recording to/jamming along with Macs, PCs, iPads, and iPhones. (iPads and iPhones require the Apple Camera Connection Kit.) HX Stomp can feed both stereo paths into your computer—along with dry versions for reamping—simultaneously No mention of Android- AFAIK, it’s something to do with compliance. Apple is class compliant, others require drivers, which you don’t get on tablets, but you can have on Windows laptops etc. Hope this helps/makes sense.
