pumpernickle 0 Posted March 2, 2014 Hi, My Pod X3 live is being very tempermental and I believe it will die soon. However, I use POD FARM more than the X3l - in fact the pedal pretty much sits in my studio and acts as an enourmous iLok key. Because i have paid for the Pod X3 am i still allowed to use the Pod Farm? I was told yes when i bought it. If so how can I do it without the pedal being plugged in? I have the licence manager -- has that got anything to do with anything? even when i have that running it doesn't let my audio software know (if that is what it's supposed to do). I'm running Windows 7 with nuendo and wavelab
silverhead 8,293 Posted March 2, 2014 Your pod farm license is tied to your X3 device, unless you have purchased pod farm seperately. So you cannot use pod farm without the X3 connected unless you purchase another license.

doffe 16 Posted March 13, 2014 same problem here.... <_< I also tend to use Pod Farm 2.5 insted of the X3 device (or XT for that matter) The X3 device is now reduced to "something taking one USB slot, potentially making the DPC in my DAW unreliable and making the DAW confused about what audio interface to use" Sadly, my X3 is having death spasms, so the next time there is a offer for the Eleven software/hardware I'll probably get that....
