Helix not producing sound

I have the following singal chain that I'm trying to set up properly for practice playback so I can perform and run tracks simultaneously: Electric guitar > Helix LT > Focusrite audio interface (linked to PC) > headphones or studio monitor. My audio interface works fine when I run tracks through it from my pc but when I switch on the LT I get zero signal when I touch the guitar except for occasional earsplitting singal overload sounds that seem to come when I literally touched nothing. I have no idea what to do at this point. I've checked the i/o quarter inch cables and they work just fine. I'm convinced something is wrong with the LT. Actually I know its the LT because when I hook it up to direct amp it still doesn't create sound. Current firmware is 3.11.0. And yes I have performed a factory reset.

Since you KNOW it's the LT, open a support ticket. There's nothing we can do for you here.

If it's under warranty, they'll take care of you.

If it's used AND out of warranty, they'll tell you where to send/take it for repair.

My only comment/suggestion is, with the LT disconnected from everything but the power and guitar, are you getting signal from the headphone jack?

Just curious.... have you tried a FULL factory preset, without loading your presets back in?

Corrupted presets can be a nightmare... which is why I am asking. Some reset options keep existing presets which will not solve this problem.
