mojoesque
can someone from Line 6 please give us frustrated early-adopters some indication of when we're going to see a firmware update to fix the known issues on the DL4mkII? in particular, not being able to save note subdivisions to presets is an absolute show-stopper. not sure how such an integral feature could be so broken and yet make it through testing to release. i purchased my DL4mkII six weeks ago and it's collecting dust. it would be nice to know that Line 6 is working on a fix. 1
Gustaff
Please add loop decay function! Very preferably knob controlled decay like Ditto X4 and many others have these days. Otherwise live looping becomes a mess...
Distorted1
I’m here hoping there’s a fix for some intermittent glitching and what sounds like sampling errors in the looper. Definitely not feeling confident to take this into a live setting as is. Loving the pedal otherwise. I wouldn’t be this frustrated if I didn’t love it so much.
leoguitar12
Tenho um DL4 MK II e não consigo salvar a subdivisão rítmica do delay como faço pra salva-la?
rockfusion82
It's really frustrating that we're not getting faster support on the subdivisions and a few other major flaws. The last update from Eric Klein (Digital Igloo) on TGP was on Friday June 3rd and read "We're very close. The current one is hopefully a release candidate. It's soaking in QA right now." See here: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/line-6-dl4-mkii.2340456/page-64 To Line 6, I highly suggest a hotfix, followed by a full firmware update in a scenario like this. There are a plethora of musicians who've purchased this pedal and are eagerly waiting to use the pedal as advertised. Many have either returned it or have removed it from their pedalboard, as it's not stable nor suitable for live shows. Any 'general improvement' updates should absolutely be decoupled from fixing the core functionality that is not functioning.
mojoesque
why are representatives of Line 6 posting information on TGP and not on their own website's support forums?
silverhead
Because these are peer-to-peer user support forums. Line 6 technical support is operated through their support ticket system. It’s actually nobody’s job at Line 6 to participate in these forums except for the overall Customer Support manager who provides an oversight function. They provide this forum platform for their users to help each other. Take a look at the banner at the top of this page titled “Welcome to the Line 6 forums!”.
mojoesque
i totally understand that, and thanks for the clarification, but wouldn't they at least want to have a presence here and use this platform to give their users information? my problem is that they're communicating more information on another forum than in their own users' forum, which doesn't make much sense ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i.e. is it someone's job at Line 6 to participate in the TGP forums? mirovaz
Hope a new firmware comes ASAP. The subdivision is a must! I also would like an option to turn the green led ON-Off when the effect is not running. It's kind of strange to have a green light ON when not using the Line6 MKII.
