JohnnyFarace
I am upgrading from GO to LT. I play LIVE Medium to large sized clubs with full sound and go direct. I have gotten many compliments on my TONE from the sound guys at nearly every club I play. Is there a way to save my current preset patches in GO and use them in my new HELIX LT? Is there a way to save my current preset patches in GO and use them in my new HELIX LT? Hi, Short answer - No. The POD GO and Helix LT are two different beasts, their preset are incompatible. This came up on here recently, and a user with both a Helix and a POD GO, said his solution was to open the editors for both units and copy the preset block settings from the GO to the Helix one by one. Long winded but effective. Hope this helps/makes sense. Link: Edited June 27, 2022 by datacommando Added link
szczepoxx
Just came across this thread, and I had exactly the same problem when I moved from POD Go to Helix LT. Since there wasn't a straightforward way to transfer my presets, I ended up developing HelixTools POD Go Converter. It converts compatible .pgp files into .hlx format, including amp/effect settings, snapshots and footswitch assignments. It's an independent paid utility ($6), and I've posted a real conversion demo on YouTube under HelixToolsApp. Might be useful for anyone else finding this thread while looking for a solution!
